Congratulations Economics I First Year Award Winners!

This years' winners for the Economics I First Year award are Weiyu Pan and Hao Jing for the Microeconomics award, and Abby Zhang and Liting Zhu for the Macroeconomics award.

The Economics I First Year Award recognizes the achievements of the top students in the Economics I class in their first year in the program.  It is awarded to the top two students by course mark (in either Fall or Winter term) in each of Economics 1B03, Introduction to Microeconomics, and Economics 1BB3, Introduction to Macroeconomics.  The Award is planned for the first ten years of Economics I, starting in the academic year 2019-20.  While the Award is primarily an honour, it is accompanied by a modest cash prize of $250.
