Arthur Sweetman

Arthur Sweetman awarded 2020 Faculty of Social Sciences Impact Award

Arthur Sweetman, Professor of Economics, has been awarded this year's Faculty of Social Sciences Impact Award

May 29, 2020

Impacts are long-term research outcomes that take the form of changed thinking, behaviours and policy. They are reflected through global economic performance, competitiveness, public service effectiveness, new products and services, employment, policy, learning skills enhancement, quality of life, community cohesion, and movement toward reconciliation and social inclusion.

The Faculty’s Impact Award recognizes outstanding research impacts, knowledge mobilization, and/or outreach activities. Initiatives will have facilitated the flow and exchange of research knowledge within and/or beyond the relevant social sciences research community. The award is given to an individual or team whose research has had important; intellectual or academic impacts and/or community, cultural, social and/or economic impacts.

Congratulations to Arthur for being awarded this year's Faculty of Social Sciences Impact Award
