  • Congratulations to Mohammed A. Khan, a PhD candidate, who has won the Lal Bahadur Shastri Student Award in the Best Graduate Paper category for 2010-2011. The competition is conducted by the Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute in Calgary.

  • Congratulations go out to Dr. Greg Flynn who was recently awarded a 2009-10 MSU Teaching Award.These awards recognize outstanding commitment to teaching and are presented annually by the McMaster Students Union. The professors were nominated, rated and selected by their students over the past year. Those receiving this year’s honours are:

    Dr. Jean Wilson (Arts & Science)
    Dr. Keith Kinder (Humanities)
    Dr. Greg Flynn (Social Science)

    Dr. Kirsten Culver (Nursing) 

    The MSU has been committed to celebrating the achievements of exceptional educators for over 30 years. The recipients were honoured with a reception on September 23rd, 2010 and have had their names added to the plaques of recognition located in the MSU office.
