Jinhu (known as ‘Daisy’ during her PhD in the Dept of Economics) Li has been awarded the Australian Research Council Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA), an award to advance promising early career researchers and enable research/research training in high quality and supportive environments.   Daisy’s research proposal, “Understanding the effects of parental education on child health outcomes” provides her with an opportunity to focus on her own research interests, including a potential research visit to McMaster in the near future. Daisy currently works as a Senior Research Fellow at the Melbourne Institute of Applied Economic and Social Research at the University of Melbourne.
