The Canadian Research Data Centre Network (CRDCN), which has 27 research data centres across the country, will get $5.9 million for the operations and central management of the network at McMaster. The CRDCN data centre network is studying how to improve our standard of living in the face of low productivity and its causes; the three admissibility criteria for immigration and the effects of each; education and social development aspects to use for poverty-reduction measures; and better use of health-care spending and accessing health outcomes depending on policy approaches.
McMaster Economics Professor Byron Spencer is the Academic Director of the Statistics Canada Research Data Centre which is a member of the CRDCN.
